In the summer of 2008, 13-year-old Nick LeMay discovered that his love for woodworking could be turned into a profitable business. Investing in a few inexpensive tools and purchasing lumber through a family friend, Nick began to carve wood furniture. After filling orders for nightstands, coat racks, and love seats, Nick created his own company, Cozy Meadows Log Furniture. Now, 16-year-old Nick even makes wooden beds, selling for around $300-400! A fun hobby became a successful micro business for Nick.
