How are two teen friends making around $76,000 this year? The duo made their dreams of a record label a reality! 18-year-old Ryan Ashmore and Liam Webb, founders of RKA Records, participated in a reality T.V. show this year in the UK called Dragons’ Den. Contestants on Dragon’s Den propose different entrepreneurial ideas and compete to win. Ashmore and Webb’s idea for a record label, coupled with their entrepreneurial spirit, won them the grand prize, a chance to make their idea come to life. From the age of 12, Ashmore ran a mobile disco from the age of 12. With a love for music, he decided to create his own music business with friend, Webb. The reality show was their big break. Now, the two have plans to sign musical acts and expand the once-micro business into a musical name. Hard work paid off for these young friends!
